Company Owned Test Equipment

1. Daily Handling and Storage:

   • Test equipment must never be left on-site. At the end of each workday, all test equipment must be returned to the vehicle to prevent theft or damage.
   • Every employee is responsible for packing up the test equipment at the end of the workday. Failure to do so will result in the employee being held 100% accountable for the equipment.

2. Care and Responsibility:

   • Employees are expected to handle all test equipment with care during use.
   • The last employee to use the equipment will be held responsible for any damage, misuse, or loss. If it is determined that damage or loss occurred due to negligence, the cost of the equipment will be deducted from the responsible employee’s paycheck.

3. Reporting Damage:

   • Any damage to test equipment must be reported immediately to a manager.
   • Employees should provide a detailed account of how the damage occurred.
   • Prompt reporting ensures that necessary repairs can be made quickly and helps prevent further issues.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Frequency: Regular maintenance checks must be performed on all test equipment at least once a month.
   • Procedures:
     • Inspect all equipment for signs of wear and tear.
     • Clean equipment according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
     • Test equipment functionality to ensure it is operating correctly.
     • Record all maintenance activities in the maintenance log, including the date, type of maintenance performed, and any issues found.
   • Responsibility: The designated Foreman is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance checks are performed on schedule. Employees must report any equipment that requires maintenance or servicing outside of the regular schedule to the Foreman.
